Watchity, S.L. is sometimes the CONTROLLER (in the case of its own events) and other times the PROCESSOR (in the case of client events) of the USER’s personal data. Why do we process your personal data?
To maintain a commercial relationship with the user. The planned operations for processing are:
- If the corresponding box has been checked, sending commercial and advertising communications by email, fax, SMS, MMS, social networks, or any other electronic or physical means, present or future, that enables commercial communications. These communications will be carried out by the CONTROLLER about its products and activities.
- If cookies have been accepted, we collect certain information from your device, such as web browser, IP address, time zone, how you interact with the site, and other information detailed in the cookie policy. - Conduct market studies and statistical analyses of events and topics of interest to you.
- Process orders, requests, respond to inquiries, provide support or assistance in using the website and services, or any type of request made by the USER through any contact means (email, forms available on the website, platform or app, or paper form).
- Provide the service as a customer, speaker, or participant of events, webinars, live sessions, streaming, forums, etc., allowing your registration, providing necessary support, and, if applicable, invoicing. The service includes recording the event and therefore the image, voice, and text messages of the participants.
- During service provision, our website may perform technical monitoring and analysis to improve your experience and preferences.
How long will we keep your personal data?
The data provided will be kept for the time strictly necessary to fulfill the purpose for which they are processed or as long as the relationship between the parties continues and as long as the data subject does not express opposition.
In the case of events organized by third parties, the data is kept while there is a relationship with the controller and according to their instructions.
Subsequently, the information will be kept blocked for the necessary years to comply with legal obligations.
Who do we share your personal data with?
Users of the platform, as attendees, participants, or speakers of events, webinars, streaming, forums, will have their data communicated to the client organizer of said event, webinar, forum, etc., with the latter being the CONTROLLERS of the data and Watchity being the PROCESSOR of the data. Therefore, you should communicate with the controller in all cases, without prejudice to any communication with us.
Furthermore, data processing by service providers for ‘cloud data storage’ or other providers or collaborators with whom we have signed the corresponding contracts also exists.
In cases where the event is organized and promoted by Watchity, the data is not communicated to third parties, except for data storage service providers.
No other communication of personal data to third parties is planned except when required by legal obligation or, if necessary for the development and execution of processing purposes, to our service providers, with whom we have signed the confidentiality and processor contracts required by current privacy regulations.
It is informed that any transfer outside the EEA will be made to a recipient declared to have an adequate level of protection by the European Commission. Additionally, we inform you that your data may be communicated to Public Administrations, banks, and financial entities to comply with legal obligations.

The USER’s rights are:
- Right to withdraw consent at any time. • Right of access, rectification, portability, and deletion of your data, and limitation or opposition to their processing and not being subject to automated decisions. • Right to file a complaint with the control authority (www.aepd.es) if you consider that the processing does not comply with current regulations.

2. MANDATORY OR OPTIONAL NATURE OF THE INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE USER
The personal data we will process are those you provide directly through our website, email, or paper forms or to the event, webinar, streaming, forum, etc., organizer you wish to participate in.
The USERS, by marking the corresponding boxes and entering data in the fields on the contact form, free trial, or download forms, expressly and freely and unequivocally accept that their data are necessary to meet their request. The USER guarantees that the personal data provided to the CONTROLLER are truthful and is responsible for communicating any changes to them.
The CONTROLLER informs that all data requested through the website are mandatory and selected by the event, webinar, streaming, forum, etc., organizer and are necessary to provide an optimal service to the USER. If all the data are not provided, it is not guaranteed that the information provided will fully meet your needs nor guarantee your participation in the event.
3. SECURITY MEASURES
In accordance with the provisions of the current regulations on personal data protection, the CONTROLLER is complying with all the provisions of the GDPR and LOPDGDD for the processing of the personal data under its responsibility, and manifestly with the principles described in Article 5 of the GDPR, by which they are processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently in relation to the data subject and are adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed.
The CONTROLLER guarantees that it has implemented appropriate technical and organizational policies to apply the security measures established by the GDPR and the LOPDGDD to protect the rights and freedoms of the USERS and has communicated the appropriate information to them so they can exercise these rights.
