In a Watchity event you can use different video signals as inputs.
Among all the options there are the two most common streaming protocols, RTMP and SRT.
To add a SRT input to your event simply click on “RTMP/SRT Capture external stream”, select the SRT option:
Once you have chosen the SRT option, the system will create the necessary url that you will need to include in your streaming software such as OBS, Vmix, encoders, etc.
Once you have the live feed available on Watchity, start the broadcast from your sending device and you will see the video content arriving in the preview of your new input.
You can interact with the feed in different ways:
– Add it to the broadcast with the switch on the top right.
– Show the signal in full screen with the arrow button.
– Control the volume level with the sidebar or mute the signal directly.
– Highlight the signal with the star button, this option will always place the camera in the highlighted position of your scene.
– Finally, with the three dots button you can do three more actions, delete the signal with the bin, refresh the source connection or retrieve the link from the server.
