The Suite arrives: a new era for Watchity with a complete redesign, new Media Library, automatic transcriptions, and more.
The Suite: a new frontend for the entire platform
With this update, we’re introducing the Suite, a full redesign of Watchity’s interface and user experience.
The new design makes navigation easier, improves workflow understanding, and unifies all main functionalities in a cleaner, faster, and more modern environment.
New Dashboard
The new control panel gives you a complete overview of your activity in Watchity:
- Quick shortcuts to key actions for your live sessions and workspace (webinars, events without production, uploading content, etc.)
- Card view for upcoming events with direct access to the Studio
- Completed events page with options to download recordings, access reports, use the clipping tool, and more
- Access to consumption data and product updates sections
Media Library: complete file management
We’re introducing the Media Library, your own space to manage all multimedia files. From here you can:
- Upload videos, images, and audio files
- Edit metadata and generate custom embeds
- Tag and organize your content, copy, move, and download files from different folders
- Cut clips using the Fast Clipper and download your media
- Share your content directly on social media
- Transcribe your content and generate automatic subtitles
- Share files with secondary spaces
Secondary Spaces
Enable a private space to share your media files and live broadcasts with external entities such as press outlets and media partners.
New Fast Clipper design
With this new update, the Fast Clipper —our clipping tool— has also been redesigned.
It now includes improvements in the selection of start and end points, better management of metadata such as descriptions and cover images, and the option to share clips on social media just as before.
AI-powered transcriptions and subtitles
We’ve developed an Artificial Intelligence–based transcription system that allows you to generate subtitles in multiple languages directly from the Media Library.
Simply select the original language and the target languages — in just a few minutes, your subtitles will be available in .srt format and ready to use in the new player.
Once generated, you can download and edit them: add or remove lines of text and adjust the timing while following the video on the same page.
Event template improvements
Event customization continues to evolve:
- The Name and Email fields are now optional or can be hidden from the registration form — ideal for events where you want to gather reporting data without requiring viewers to share personal details.
- New automation options allow you to define fixed input or output channels directly within the template, so you don’t need to reconfigure them for every event.
Studio updates
From the Studio, you can now manage your output channels and get all the stream links from the new Destinations section.
We’ve also added RTMP Pull support and the option to obtain an HLS m3u8 link once the event has started.
New light mode
If you prefer a brighter environment, you can now switch to Light Mode from the user menu in the top-right corner.
